San Francisco Lonely

These photos were taken when I lived alone in San Francisco 2006-2007. I had a studio apartment on the corner of Market and Laguna. I spent my days working at Amoeba Music, sneaking onto Muni, and spending my last $20 at Crossroads. My nights included listening to records with my friends DJ, Corrie and Kaitlin, karaoke at Encore, and downing many a whiskey ginger ales at the Beauty Bar. On Saturdays I would tune my MP3 player to Desmond Dekker and I'd walk to Delores Park. If it was too rainy my buddy DJ and I would hop on the F-train to get clam chowder at fisherman's warf. This was one of the best years of my 20s, but it was by far one of the loneliest times in my life. Heartache, adulthood and consequences were my lonely friends for the 10 months I lived here. But the great friends I made while working at Amoeba will be in my heart and thoughts always.
